The Wiltshire Close Residents Association (RA) is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the lives of residents in Wiltshire Close. Our main focus is on supporting children and the elderly, helping them stay active, engaged, and connected within our community.
We organise events, trips, and activities that bring residents of all ages together, fostering friendship, fun, and a sense of belonging. From summer fun days to beach outings, every initiative is designed to create memorable experiences that strengthen the fabric of our neighbourhood.
Beyond events, we work tirelessly to improve our estate, engaging with the housing department and local authorities to make Wiltshire Close a safer, friendlier, and more welcoming place to live. We advocate on behalf of residents to address concerns, enhance communal spaces, and ensure the needs of our community are heard.
All of our committee members volunteer their time — we do not take a salary or use any funds for personal benefit. Every contribution is invested directly into programmes, events, and initiatives that make a real difference for residents.
Our work is guided by the values of community, inclusion, and wellbeing. We aim to:
Reduce social isolation, especially among the elderly
Provide children with safe, fun, and enriching experiences
Foster a spirit of togetherness and neighbourly support
Improve the safety, environment, and quality of life on our estate
Thanks to the generosity of funders such as CLLL at RBKC, we have been able to organise successful events like a Bournemouth Beach trip, a Summer Fun Day and a trip to Lyrics Hammersmith to watch Jack and the Beanstalk, which brought joy and connection to dozens of residents in 2025 alone. By supporting the WC Residents Association, you are helping to build a stronger, safer, and more inclusive community where everyone — from the youngest to the oldest — feels valued, connected, and at home.
